Many people stop sex dead in its tracks during pregnancy. However, you really don't need to. Providing it is a normal pregnancy, you can keep on doing it right until the waters break. Of course, you will need to make a couple of adjustments to your sex life in order to accommodate this.
People seem to think that sex during pregnancy is going to harm their baby in some way or another. However, it really isn't. There is absolutely no way normal sex is going to harm your unborn child. It is fully protected inside of you which means that no outside substances are going to get inside and cause infection or any other ailments to your baby. So there is nothing to worry about here! Guys should be aware that women may actually lose their sex drive from time to time during pregnancy. This isn't anything to worry about, instead you should wait until they are 'ready' to have sex again. Remember, sex during pregnancy is different for everybody, some women may find that sex is more pleasurable, others may not feel a thing. Don't worry though, this isn't a reflection on your lovemaking skills. It's just how it is.
Surprisingly, there are very few things that you need to avoid whilst having sex during pregnancy. One thing you do need to make sure of, however, is that the position is comfortable for the woman. Whilst theoretically all sex positions are possible, many can end up causing great pain, especially during the later stages of pregnancy. But this is important: if you do enjoy giving your lass oral sex, then you may need to take a couple of extra precautions as this could end up killing the baby if it is not performed correctly. You can tease the clitoris all you like, but under no circumstances should you actually breathe into the vagina. This can cause an embolism, which can actually lead to the death of your child. You don't need to cut out oral sex all together, but please be careful!
Now that that is out of the way, let's move onto the fun stuff, the actual sex part. As I said before, there are plenty of positions that you can try during your lovemaking, but the few that I am going to mention below are more pleasurable than any of the others, and of course they will place much less strain on your body. First, start off with the good old traditional 'Woman on Top' position. This position has actually been proven to provide higher levels of sex satisfaction in women, and thus it should be the first thing that you jump into. It also puts no pressure on the abdomen, which means that it isn't uncomfortable either. You can also control the depth of penetration if you find that it is all getting a little too much. How about making love sitting down? This position feels absolutely fantastic, and you can spring it on your partner whenever you like. All you need to do is sit on his penis whilst he is in a comfortable chair. You won't believe how pleasurable it is. In fact, it is on par with the previous one! Baby weight getting a bit too much? Try the doggy position. It will actually feel great that you are taking the weight off your hips for a while! This means that you get the double the benefit! Of course, your partner will be getting much deeper inside of you, so if you feel that is a bit too much then stick a pillow in the way to control the depth.
Hopefully these quick tips will make sex during pregnancy safer and so much more pleasurable for both you and your partner!
